Support & Resistance Indicator
Based on swing levels and price levels rather than volume, this indicator takes a different approach from the standard ATAS Support & Resistance indicator. The ProfitPro indicator calculates support and resistance levels based on prominent swing points, using a calculation method similar to the zig-zag. Levels are not drawn live — they appear only after swing points are confirmed.
Users can adjust the sensitivity to view support and resistance levels on a short-term or long-term basis. The indicator works on any timeframe. Colors and visual styles of the levels are fully customizable. Note: no alerts are available.
How traders use it:
Traders can apply the Support & Resistance indicator to analyze price zones where markets frequently react. For example, if price repeatedly holds at a support level, traders may analyze potential entry zones; resistance levels may indicate areas where traders consider managing positions or monitoring for potential reversals. Traders can use these zones to structure their analysis of entries, exits, and risk management — focusing on areas where momentum may pause or shift.
